Teaching School & SCITT

Teaching is a very rewarding profession where you can make a real difference every day to the life of a young person and have a real impact on their future. Teaching is more than a job; it’s an exciting career where no two days are the same.

A SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) is a training provider which is based exclusively in a school, giving trainee teachers the opportunity to gain ‘on the job’ experience of teaching from the start of their training.

Our former trainees have had successful career progression into middle leadership roles only a few years after gaining Qualified Teacher Status.

We have a growing partnership of secondary schools across the region where placements can be made to teach students in the age range of 11-16 years.

We are proud that 100% of trainees completing their course in 2018 found employment. The majority within he local area.
