Landau Forte Charitable Trust was established in 1989 and now operates 6 Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form Academies across the Midlands, with Landau Forte College Derby being the first to open its doors in 1992. We have recently celebrated more than 20 years of operating an innovative and forward thinking educational organisation, recently judged as Outstanding for the second time by Ofsted. This experience along with our education model has become the DNA from which more Landau Forte Academies have been developed.
We are passionate about educating children across the 4 – 19 age range. It is our intention to make a positive difference to the lives of young people with the ambition of securing the best education possible for them. Our intention is to grow our numbers of Academies in a measured and controlled way ensuring each is grounded within the community it serves.
Our children, staff, parents and carers are proud to be a part of the Landau Forte family where they help to build and shape an ethos and culture which places children first.
Together with our partners we are striving to play our part in improving education in our country, we hope you will want to share our journey with us.
Embark on your journey with Landau Forte within our Primary Academies. We have our first primary Academy open with others in the planning and development stages. We recognise those early years in education are critical for every child and we want to give all our children the best possible start.
Secondary and Sixth Form Education
Building upon those early years of learning we have over 20 years of experience of providing high quality secondary education for our students where they learn and develop as well rounded individuals becoming well prepared for their futures in higher education, training and employment.
Landau Forte is fortunate to have strong partnership support from the wider world with partners from business, industry and commerce who have been eager and willing to support the Academies in a broad range of ways. This ensures we remain outward facing and are able to connect our students and their learning to broader real world contexts.
