Dear Parents and Carers,
As you may well know the Department for Education recently launched a scheme providing vouchers that can be used in a range of supermarkets to the families of children entitled to free school meals to ensure they are still able to benefit from this during the lockdown. However, we have recently been contacted by a number of parents who have experienced difficulties with this process.
While we appreciate it is both frustrating and distressing to encounter an obstacle in this process, unfortunately in the vast majority of cases we are not able to help. Unless the issue is that the email address we have on file for you is incorrect, as this is a DfE run initiative, we are not able to provide direct help to you. If we do have the wrong email for you, please do contact the Academy as soon as possible to provide an updated email address.
If you have any other query or have experienced an issue with the voucher system, please contact Edenred UK, the organisation who are distributing the vouchers. They can be reached using the following email address: [email protected]. We share your frustration on the problems that are being experienced, but most queries can only be resolved by Edenred. Contacting the school to raise an issue may slow down the process and further delay you receiving a working voucher.
The DfE and Edenred UK have collated a series of frequently asked questions which you may find useful. This can be downloaded below. If your question is not answered in this document please do contact Edenred at [email protected].
